Absolutely ecstatic to announce a tea from our home state of Bihar! This is a malty and sweet black tea, which fits right into to definition of traditional black/red tea. Not many people in the world or even in India are aware that Bihar, situated in the eastern part of India, produces tea, let alone it being this delicious. We wish to change that and are thankful for being able to offer the tea made from years of hardwork of the people behind this tea.

The dry leaf smells absolutely sweet, with notes of jaggery dominating it. The same flavour intensifies when you place it in your heated teaware. The liquor in the first infusion is sweet with an even sweeter aftertaste, it has notes of palm jaggery, jaggery and malt. The second infusion is pretty similar, with the main difference being the fruity notes of orange along with the jaggery and malt. The third infusion is slightly woody along with the signature sweetness. The tea keeps on going and the sweetness doesn't fade till the last drop it has to provide. You can choose to add a drop of milk and brew it english style, add to your Indian milk tea, brew it western style in a teapot or brew it gong fu style in your gaiwan/small teapot and you'd be surprised how well it does with absolutely every style and parameter. We are sure, just like us, this and the upcoming teas from the region will become your daily driver very soon!
