Much awaited and finally back in stock! We are going with a February end batch once again. It is grown in Coonoor, Nilgiri at an altitude of 6300 feet. Their motto is to preserve the leaf's character resulting in some exceptional teas. The people making this tea work hard in the misty Nilgiris bringing you this experience, the steep slopes are not an easy place to work! It is made from CR6017 cultivar, an assamica and cambod hybrid, specially developed for growing in the Nilgiri region.

The dry leaf has a honey and cream aroma with faint fruity background. When placed on the heated ware, the fruity background comes to life with notes of kinnow, Indian jujube and red apple. This tea is a lot closer to the Nilgiri Highland Oolong than the previous batches of Winter Nilgiri Oolong and we love that, this combines the best of both worlds! The liquor is insanely fruity with notes of kinnow and Indian jujube greeting you on your first sip. The finish is like classic Nilgiri, with the notes of paan leaf and rose. The sweetness of the liquor is the most similar to palm sugar. As you sip more, the fruity character evolves and tastes like ripe muskmelon.
