A roasted black tea was on our bucket list since a very long time and we could not be happier offering our first one from Arunachal Pradesh! Made by the master tea maker who has made all our Arunachal black teas, this is no different, crafted to perfection!
The dry leaf has a roasty smell, to nobody's surprise! There is a nutty note to it as well, resembling hazelnut. When placed on the heated ware, you get notes of corn cobs roasted on fire along with a grassy background. We cannot help but first mention how comforting this tea is to drink! The liquor has notes of cedarwood on the front and gives you a floral aftertaste. The next few sips bring the hazelnut note to the fore. When the liquor cools down, you experience notes of cloves and cacao nibs. Some sips have an aftertaste of roasted fennel seeds. After you are done midway through your cup, all of these notes beautifully come together to make your final sips the most enjoyable of them all!
