Presenting the second wild tea launch this year, this batch is from Summer 2025. Simple wild black tea from the old tree forests of Manipur, this one makes for a comforting cup, impossible to brew wrong. An ancient delicacy, this is the tea the village folks have been drinking from at least 300 years. Usually they prefer the smoked version, but this one is what led to its development. The artisans believe in offering a clean cup and this one delivers it ever so well!
On your first sip, you experience notes of wood with a honey background. On further sips, you can experience notes of wet forest, wild honey and apples. There is a hint of dates as well. On the fruity front, you get to experience notes of mulberry too. There is a hint of nutmeg as the tea cools down. It has a sweetness of molasses and honey throughout the cup. One of the most likeable parts of this tea is complete absence of astringency and bitterness. We hope you enjoy this tea as much as we do, perfect for cold winter mornings!
