We finally have a beautiful Darjeeling second flush for you! We tend to be super picky with Darjeeling second flush and only a handful of them make the cut for us. This year, we were rewarded with this amazing Giddapahar Second Flush Black Tea, made using the famed AV2 cultivar. This tea is going to take you on a fruity tea journey!

The dry leaf has a sweet musky aroma, when placed on a heated ware, you can notice notes of cocoa and hazelnut. On your first sip, you are greeted with notes of caramel and hazelnut. As you sip further, you start to get a fruity aftertaste, dominant in peach, mango and probably some other candy like sweet fruit too, we considered naming this tea something like Darjeeling Candy Black Tea, but the second flush identifier is more important here! As the liquor cools down, you can experience more fruity notes of pears, custard apple and apricots. There's absolutely no bitterness and the dryness is also minimal, especially compared to other second flush teas.

We are sure you'd enjoy a good session with this tea. Its also great for experimentation, the same tea is wildly different with higher mineral water, more dominant in dark sweet notes like molasses and honey, while more fruity dominant if brewed in water with less minerals, something closer to RO water.
