Introducing Hanjiki Gong Fu Essentials!
 
This is the second gong fu essentials set we have listed on the site and we cannot be less excited about it. Made from Hanjiki porcelain, with raw materials from Oakland, California and handcrafted in Bangalore, India. Hanjiki is a Japanese word, made by combining the words han and jiki, han means half and jiki means porcelain. It is made by mixing earthenware and porcelain and fired at 1290°C.
 
Angular forms and smooth curved rims make the set not only asthetically pleasing but also comfortable for daily use. Light and faded sage green glaze adds a pop to the white canvas, one can see tiny speckles of brown and black colour under the glaze. The exterior of the ware is left raw and reflects the true color of the porcelain. 
 
Disclaimer : The colours of the pieces can be slightly different from how it appears in the photographs, although we try to present it as true to its nature as possible, it is incredibly hard to capture glazes and different kinds of display screens may present it differently.
