Here we go! A 2024 First Flush! Happy to offer a first flush from Meghalaya this year. Made from AV2, the world famous Darjeeling cultivar, this one just shines in the beautiful terroir of Meghalaya. Has all the characters of the cultivar while also being distinctly Meghalayan. We're sure you will love this tea!


The dry leaf smells like a fruit bomb, with notes of pears and cherry. When placed on the heated ware, the fruit bomb name comes to life with notes of pears, green apple and apricots. The AV2 cream aroma is also present, making the process of brewing the tea feel like a luxury. On the first sip, you get floral notes of yellow oleander. On further sips, the fruit notes of oranges, pears and green apple come to life. The nectar like floral sweetness is always present accompanied by a hint of astringency. This hint of astringency is what makes the liquor so refreshing, making you reach for more and more sips. The fruit and floral part dance together till the end to make this the first flush you will love the most this year!


Appearance : Light yellow

Taste : Pears, green apple, orange, yellow oleander, cream

Steeping Time : 3 minutes western style, 25 seconds gongfu style adding 10 seconds every subsequent steep
Leaf to water ratio :  1 gram per 100ml for western style, 3 grams per 100ml for gongfu style

Recommended Steeping Temperature : 88°C

Recommended Steeping Method : Works good both ways
