We're excited to announce a tea from Mizoram once again, this is just the start and 2023 will see many more additions from the region! We've had this since summer 2020 but we've decided to launch it just now! More than two years of rest has transformed this tea and we feel it is a much more interesting version of itself now!

The dry leaf has a dominant woody aroma. When placed on the heated ware, the woody profile turns more like forest floor, giving an autumn like vibe. The liquor is complex and dark with notes of lantana. One you complete the sip, it almost feels like you have had a young sheng! There is a caramel like sweetness complimented by a delicious dried apple note. The young sheng note coupled with the overall earthy autumn like profile work together very well. Although we prefer to talk just about the taste when it comes to tea but we will make an exception and talk about the body feel this particular black tea has to offer, this is one of the teas which gives you the energy to wake up without being overpowering and we love that about it!
